Considering that the iPhone 14 has the same chip as the 13 (and that in almost all the iPhone 14 is the same as the iPhone 13), I don't see why to opt for this one and not go for the 13. Yes, it has 2 GB more RAM but this is because of the plus model and its display requirements. I really consider the 13th to be a better choice instead of the iPhone 14, or even better to wait for the 15th, since really in everyday life the difference in speed is not exponentially large between the iPhone XR and the 14. whats the point upgrading if your iphone works, people using an older iphone wont notice the speed difference, in europe you see more older iphones on the street because if it works save your money, you are only buying the same product again but only faster, if every year the new iphones had a different version of ios to the older phones you may want to upgrade, for the slow down on the x and xr thats apple making ios slower on older phones.

I went from the XR to the 14 plus and while I could’ve waited another year or two, I just wanted a new bigger phone so the 14 was the right time. If you have later than that then you can definitely wait longer for the next phones

If you have an older OnePlus, Do the speed test comparison of that too.
In my experience the OnePlus has great longevity on Android side of things

Ive noticed my XR gets very hot doing the same simple tasks compared to my iPhone 14 pro max.
Dont miss that heat :p
