There is no "whirlpool" at the North Pole.

Funny thing, way back in the summer of 1958 the first nuclear submarine, the Nautilus, successfully traveled under the ice and reached the North Pole. No "vortex" involved whatsoever. And I learned about it back in the 1960s.

No, I haven't wondered about what causes the tides. We learned about that in elementary school. What I DO wonder about, and frequently, is where the arrogant, smug, misplaced confidence amongst flerfs originates.

I watched a Top Gear special where they drove to the North Pole. They must have cut the whirlpool out. Or maybe it was all a lie and they drove to Cleethorpes in the winter. 🙄 🙄
