A pity no examples of the Handley Page O/100 or O/400 exist today. About 12 years ago, I conducted a fair amount of research on the Handley Page O/400 inspired by my country's RAAF operating one example in the Middle East during WW1. There are some bits and pieces in one of the English based RAF museums north of London - tail section, bits of the main wings, etc. A complete set of original drawings for the O/400 were held by IWM for many years. These have be digitised and now held by RAF Museum London at Hendon. I got to look at some of these drawings at Hendon in 2014. An original spare parts catalogue from 1918 is held in a major US library and 10 years ago was available for complete down load on the web. It was, from memory, about 700 pages long. It included some blueprints/schematics of the O/400. Also on the web 10 years ago was plans with overall dimensions created in Germany during the War by reverse engineering an intact captured example. It would be fantastic to see a full scale replica built even if only a static non flying model.

The HP O/400 Rolls Royce Eagle aero engine was apparently designed by creating a V12 from the standard RR Silver Ghost side valve 6 cyl engine from the period. These RR 6 cyl were 6.5 litre, so I guess the Eagle was 13 litre; and, very likely the great grand daddy of the fabulous RR Merlin V12. O/400, a fascinating aircraft.

WW I should be spoken referred to as 'world war one', not "world war (letter) 'i' ".. It's a Roman numeral one. Thanks for this.

The Admiralty wanted as they put it after Zepplins bombed an infants school in London 6yr olds upwards, a #BLOODY PARALYSER of a bomber, they were quite succesful and any large airoplane was called a Handley Page even up to ww2

Ditch the computer voice, just find a lady with a nice voice or yourself.

Terrible computer generated narration. It doesn't even match the images.
