Wow... a technique to create dramatic B&W in just a few minutes. Very impressive Serge! Over here in Ontario I'd say "Ca c'est une Bonnie job!". Keep up the good work.

Just downloaded lightroom 5 beta and came across your tutorials. They are great. I fell into using the presets but you've gotten me all excited again to experiment. Thank you.

Great tutorial. It introduces the hand of the artist. What does the artist want you to see or feel. Dodging and burning is one of the oldest techniques and too many photographers with their mantra of "get it right in camers" are often missing the opportunity to place their artistic touch. Sure get it right in camera then take it to the next level in post. If you want to know how.... watch Serge and purchase his tutorials. They go into much more details, these are but a taste.

Fantastic video. I just starting following you and have purchased some of your "bundles."  I've  learned more in your videos than I ever had with books and other purchased tutorials.

Very well done Serge. The name of the technique is know as Dodge and Burn and has been in practice since photography was invented. Im always happy to see people try new things.Your tutorials are very good keep up the good work.

Btw, there is a short cut in Lightroom for before and after and I hope there is a key on the French keyboard it is the "\" key. It will show you the before and after.

Wow. What an effect. I am also of the school that B&W needs a lot of contrast, but that really is an interresting technique. I am certainly going to try that out.
Thank you so much. Really good video.
