Caste is not indigenous to Dharma or Hinduism but deliberately introduced by the missionaries and British during their rule. What Dharma had was a complex Varna, Kul Jaati system which did not divide society but integrated it.

Look the problem with the physical text or religions or traditional text is that in the last 1000 years BHARAT has seen many invasions like Islamic invasions in which many university like Nalanda are destroyed and in which the invaders fire the whole library of books kept in the university with took more then many months to end the fire. You need a guru to understand Vedas because the language is cryptic and uses metaphors and codes to explain things, which without a proper context might just seem like voodoo language or on the outwards it may seems like hogwash.

For example, there comes a hymn in rig veda, (I am paraphrasing) which goes something like-
Praise to Surya( sun), sitting on chariot with seven horses and 12 spoked wheel.
It sounds made up until someone explains to you that the seven horses stand for seven colors and 12 spokes for months.
You can certainly go ahead and read without a guru, or context, you won't understand though. Now guru, doesn't necessarily means a man present, you can check references of of several books written over centuries by many scholars but it helps if someone is there to guide you throughout.

On how to become a guru, same as how you become a professor, having command over you subject by thorough reading understanding and practice.

You asked how do I find a guru? Well those people are the once who have dedicated their lives to learning the Scriptures.. They can answer your any questions within minutes... You can't such people easily...

Aryan invasion theory i.e the theory that states Aryans migrated from West to India is false. There is absolutely no evidence to prove yhis hypothesis. Infact, all evidences tell an opposite story. Sanskrit and hinduism is indigenous to India.
