You have just hit the mother lode of singers with Aretha Franklin (Queen Of Soul). This lady started out singing gospel music, then R&B, but could do many genres. She had so many hits especially in the 60's-70's including "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)", "Respect", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman", "Think", "I Say A Little Prayer" etc.

I’m sure others may mention.. but if you really want ‘the feels’.. watch what I believe was Aretha’s last performance, at Kennedy Center Honors in honor of Carole King. Ms. King wrote ‘You Make me Feel Like a Natural Woman’ which Aretha made into a HUGE hit over 50 yrs ago. At Kennedy honors she played the piano and quite literally ‘brought the house down’!! Great reaction on this one… thank-you!

Hi Nick-The tremelo guitar at the beginning is played by Joe South. He had an interesting career with a lot of sideline work, a few topical singer songwriter songs, especially Games People Play, and wrote a country pop song called Rose Garden, which was a huge hit for Lynn Anderson in 1971. Even if you don't like gospel music, Aretha's Amazing Grace album is pretty amazing. Aretha apparently wasn't happy when Beyonce called Tina Turner the "Queen, " when Aretha has been called the Queen of Soul for decades.

🌸 okay so there's a fantastic dance scene that set to this song, from a John Travolta movie called Michael.
he plays kind of an undercover Angel and if you look closely in the dance scene you could kind of see his wings underneath his trench coat LOL.. but he is in a bar with friends and wants to hear the song and it's just for me the coolest movie moment ever so I thought maybe you might want to watch it since it's completely to this Aretha song.
