F-4E was power-creeped to oblivion. The lack of PD radar makes it effectively useless, AIM-7Es are woefully inadequate and it constantly faces vastly superior opponents.

i once dogfighted a F4-E with the Harrier FRS.1... i can tell a dogfight of prop bombers was more intense in terms of turning 💀

F-4E / J series (all nations) should be moved down 0.3 BR honestly as it has NO PLACE fighting 4th gen fighters.
Fighters that have Twice the capability in firepower, maneuverability and Radar capabilities (R27-ER / ET - R-73 - AIM-9M - AIM-7M)
that or Raise the BR ceiling of ALL 4th gen fighters to 12.7 - 13.0.

I got myself up to F-4E when it was a top dog in game, such a great time. Over 700 battles and almost 60% of win ratio

The big downside of this plane is the lack of PD radar mode.

With the british phantom i have like 2.4 of K/D facing tomcats F16s and migs29 all the day, skyflash(E2) do the job.

i use it in sim its a p decent support aircraft, IN SIM. you can bomb or take out objectives really quickly. When they spawn the bombers u just fly up u got 8 missiles so u just make mincemeat of the bombers and hightail it out of there, depending on what nations ur fighting u can also support other planes so they do the dogfighting and ur just kind of the wingman shoot when there is an opportunity its really fun w/ a friend and ur coordinating. But apart from that in 2024 it hasn't changed D;
