Msi's new cooler is really nice, appreciate how quiet it is along with being dual slot vs 2.5 like a lot of them are. Their custom RX 480 is out mid August apparently, see how that does against it. Thanks for benchmarks, you're one of the few that uses my current card the R9 Fury so i can actually compare.

Both MSI RX 480 and GTX 1060 are the same price now on amazon. Both have a 20 bucks mail in rebate.

thank you for an unbiased and honest review. can't get that from the US or Canada anymore. they act like CNN fox and NBC. Linus is full Nvidia and Intel fan boy. we have tech syndicate looking out for team red when ever they can. the list goes on.

only thing i can complain about is you can overclock the 1060 to 2ghz with ease but not the 480. Great vid

yeah, i guess many AMD "fans" are kinda happy, but i really dont understand how you got so close results. Other (i would say "more famous", im not saying you are any bad, im just curious) youtubers that made comparasion between RX 480 and GTX 1060 got much better results for GTX 1060. Nice video btw. keep it up

how can it be that with most reviewers i see a gain between 7 or 10 percent between the 1060 and the rx 480....with other reviewers the 1060 outperforms the rx 480 and draws 30 to 40 watts less power....only upside here is crosfire on the rx 480... i, m getting confused

Got this card and it's is probably the quietest 1060 and the one with the best design for red/black Builds. Still sending it back when the msi 480 is in stock again(1 fucking month because the 480 chips sold so good in Germany). The 480 is probably better in the future and I m probably buying a freesync monitor because they r 100€ cheaper then a g sync monitor.

are you comparing to a reference 480? i've seen a lot of reviews around the net which are really skewed because of comparing a high end aib 1060 to the rubbish reference 480.

Personally i disagree with your conclusion, more in line if you compare the MSI GTX1060 Gaming X vs MSI RADEON RX 480 GAMING X 8G, the price difference ($20) to me its worth it.
