This is the 2nd version of this story that I've seen. This couple is much less flirty and passionate, but sweet nonetheless. The 2ML was a serious scumbag; he enjoyed having a mistress while he treated the "adopted" FL like she had a contagious disease. He honestly seemed to think that she was so in love with him that she would never leave him. He also seemed to enjoy his classy FL fiancée for his parents, while having a mistress overseas. It was very satisfying to see the scheming mistress realize that she was only desirable whilst overseas and not when available 24/7; and that the 2ML had never genuinely considered dumping the FL as his future wife. Their slow unraveling was quite satisfying, as they were both narcissistic. I enjoyed the slow burn of the lead couple as they learnt to work together towards a happy and healthy relationship and future. Gramps was adorable, and so were the overprotective orchestral siblings and cousin. I also enjoyed how the FL's adoptive parents supported her decision to dump their son, after he went away on a dirty weekend instead of getting married. ❤

Pretty good! FL does NOT end up with the scumbag, so this is a good watch. ML actor seems to be at the very beginning of his career. He did ok. FL was good. I do not get, WHY the SML treated the FL like that...they were kind of siblings and he seemed to dislike her very much....subs are bad!
