You can criticise the Bulldogs look, size, charisma, ability to get over, not being able to cut a promo, being jerks backstage.

But please Brutus to say they were green and you schooled them is ridiculous! Dynamite was having matches with tiger mask before he signed for wwf that are still ground breaking to this day, they had more wrestling talent injured on a bad day than you did in your prime

The Bulldogs wrestled in England on itv world of sport in the 70s. Davey boy was called Young David and debuted at age 15. For brutus to say they were green is a joke really. They were technically gifted even before stampede, they just got better and better. I imagine it was hard for Davey boy to talk and do promos a strong northern English accent that most Americans wouldn't understand what the fuck he was saying lol. But green, far from mate

I think he snorted some cocaine here. The British Bulldogs were an all time great tag team. Even though Dynamites injuries caught up to him around this time, he could still work and of course Davey was phenomenal. Green? WTF? if you look at old videos of The Bulldogs wrestling in Calgary and Japan BEFORE the WWE youd see they were totally worthy of a tag team title run. This guy was only in WWE because of his buddy Hulk.

I was a huge fan of all the heels except for Beefcake. And I hated most of the faces except the Bulldogs. But Dynamite's skills were legendary.

Beefcake talking crap here. The championship belts in any promotion if you pay close attention to things. Goes to balance things out so you have either a heel or babyface World Champion, while the other belts (secondary and tag?!) have either a Heel or babyface. *i.e. the number 3* balanced out accordingly 2 heels or two babyfaces but rarely all 3 being either all babyfaces or all heels.

Back then as the Dream Team they were heels going into 1986's Wrestlemania, while Tito Santana (babyface) just lost the I.C. Intercontinental Championship to Macho-Man Randy Savage a heel at the time. And as we know Hogan was babyface World Champion was entering his 2nd year as championship title holder. The Dream Team were booked to lose the belts to keep the balance Vince wanted Babyface world champion, heel secondary champion and babyface 'hot new' tag team on the scene etc. All 3 championships are rarely all 3 heels or babyfaces back then or now even? So whats Beefcake sniffing is what i want to know.

There as always been booking to try and match what the other guy's doing (i.e. WWF, The AWA or NWA/WCW back then?) but even within you're own company (WWF here for example?) the balance stays the same more or less. With the tag team championship changing the most frequently anyhow. While in the 1980's the world title or secondary belts (I.C. or US title) could be held close to a year or more like the world title could b. Beefcake shouldn't be talking as if he and valentine were in a position to always be in tons of count-out or DQ matches with a more talented and younger team, as that just nonsense talk. And what's he bitching for anyways wasn't the buildup to Wrestlemania 2 the whole point of feud with the Bulldogs anyways, given the Dream Team of him and Greg Valentine had a 9 month run with the belts anyhow. Losing them on PPV was the finish of the feud of him and Valentine putting over the Bulldogs. Putting over the heels who couldn't do half the new energetic stuff the Bulldogs could do in the ring wasn't the point of getting the bulldogs to begin with if they weren't going to be booked to go over you and your partner Beefcake. then be given a push as the new champs.

Again the whole balancing out your; heels and babyfaces holding belts year in and out etc.

THE BULLDOGS AN MORE SO DYNAMITE KID WAS SO FAR BEYOND beef cake& valentine its pitiful, they didnt pull in any crowds or cash!! THE BULLDOGS TOGETHER OR SINGLES HAD IT ALL, THE STUFF IN JAPAN THEY DID IS AMAZING.. BRUTUS MADE HIS CAREER OFF HOGAN!! FACT. LOOK AT VALENTINE NEED I SAY MORE

He meant Valentine and he had to slow them down and cut out half the Bulldogs moves . This was so Bulldogs did not expose them, especially Ed, for being lesser wrestlers.

Turned them into a good tag team ...yikes . .the Bulldogs vs Hart Foundation series in the year prior to and the year they chased Valentine and Beefcake were all instant classics and way better than Beefcake Valentine series the Bulldogs vs Dream Team was good but the Bulldogs v Harts were great. I can make this comment because I was lucky enough to see both series live . Each series was probably a four match series. Each team would win one you would have a dq or double count out in the third and the fourth match would be the blow off. The Harts series was way better . It wasnt even really that close .
