The black community needs to shun this bs behavior. Acting like a criminal, glorifying criminal behavior has NOTHING to do with being black. Reject that bs. Being black should be about being exceptional, being a fine human being and a role model. Ya that’s right. Step up and stand up. ✊🏿

Most people would kill for his position and status, and he just throws it away 🤡💀

Bro has enough money where he isn’t forced to live a horrible lifestyle, has a loving family, and ultimately has a little daughter to take care of. There’s zero reason he should be putting himself and his family at risk by trying to roleplay a “gangster”. Smh

DIllion brooks = I am the biggest clown in NBA right now.
JA morant = Are you sure about that?

For those that don't know, this guy is a father. Imagine how embarrassing it is for his family.

I had a neighbor once, it was a middleclass area but still very near to the trenches probably 2 blocks apart, his mom was a doctor, she gave him a lot of opportunities, he even got a car, bro still stood on the corner with his friends, they even did a home evasion on him and had a shoot out, his homie died on that corner in daytime. Still he went back to the corner, I don't understand it, he was good in school he had money and a dope mother that loved and funded him but still he chose the streets.

Ja is a CLEAR example of TALENT without DISCIPLINE equals DISASTER!!!

The first time this happened 90% of the former players were cuddling him, saying he is young and getting on Shannon Sharpe for being too hard on him. This is exactly what happens when you cuddle young people and fail to give them the cold hard truth.

Miss the days of the Kobe, MJ and LBJ when superstars were focused on the nba and carried themselves in a professional manner but ja is very selfish and not focused on basketball as he should be, some people can’t handle the spotlight or pressure of greatness and Ja is acting out

At this moment I honestly feel like alot of people right now are outraged for the sake of being outraged. To be clear; Ja was in a private setting, he more than likely owns the gun legally, it isnt reported that he was threatening anyone with said gun, and he wasnt on any official team business at the time.

For all intents and purposes Ja has committed no crimes, nor was anyone in danger, yet he's getting more bad press than people in the league that committed *actual* crimes or reprehensible acts. For goodness sake we as a society have politicians that are regularly recorded with guns, heck some of them even took full family photos with guns. To be clear here, we're holding *certain* athletes to standards that we don't even hold elected officials to. Maybe we need to stop putting athletes on pedestals, and stop demanding that they be role models all because they're tall and can shoot/throw/dunk a ball good.

If Ja gonna keep being around guns he might as well get an endorsement from a pro-gun organization.

Im sure Steven Adams will spend a portion of his off-season back home in New Zealand. Ja needs to be on that plane with him.

This is a deeper conversation we need to have within the black community about young men feeling the need to act a certain way or be a certain way when your a young black man with money. Its the music, hood culture and many other aspects of being a young black man in america... Even if you dont come from that lifestyle many young men feel like they need to act like this to fit in or be considered hard or your not "black enough".. seems like no one wants to have that conversation though... Its deeper than a lot of people care to admit. I think the music plays a massive role and thats where i personaly would love to see more studies and discusions concerning its effect on the youth .. we need to stop celebrating these types of charecters in our community and the youth will follow..

Stop bringing his friends into it...actually maybe Ja's friends need to distance themselves from Ja since he appears to be the bad influence.

He's flashing a gun in Tennessee where you can get AR-15s at Walmart, the NBA'S fake outrage is ridiculous 😅
