Kobe once said “we’re fortunate enough that Iverson is not 6’6” something like that but, that right there says it all

Iverson was more than just a player. He changed the culture of the NBA!

Seriously disrespectful what mad dog said, Morant is a great talent who is starting his career but hasn't done anything yet. Allen Iverson was a MVP, scoring champ, and dragged a mediocre team to the finals and always played with heart. He gave Kobe and other players at the time a lot of headaches. He also changed NBA culture and helped grow the NBA brand.

Imagine hearing that A.I isn’t a transcendent player AFTER watching his career 😂

Mad Dog reminds me so much of skip Bayless the head movements the reactions to what Stephen says everything is just spot on😂😂😂

Comparing efficiency’s in the early 2000s and right now is so unfair. Defenses were different back then, and games would end in the 70s and 80s. Now teams score 80 by the middle of the 3rd quarter because of how the rules have changed.

Prime Iverson was literally incomprehensible basketball. Allen Iverson could take on 5 guys and somehow come up with a move you have never seen and score the ball effortlessly. I remember how two or three guys would follow him around the court like they were playing in the tyke league. GIVE THE MAN HIS RESPECT!

This man just got on national tv and said Iverson wasn’t a transcendent player. 🤦🏽‍♂️

A very underrated part of Iversons game is his stamina

He had 11 seasons in his career where he averaged 40+ MPG.

The last time a player averaged 40 MPG was Monta Ellis back in the 2011 season

Ladies and gentleman, Allen Iverson was a transcendent talent. That man, was a winner.

Iverson won scoring titles, an mvp and took that 76ers squad to the finals against my lakers. That laker team wouldve went undefeated in the playoffs but Iverson changed that. Iverson 6ft and did WORK! I love Ja but don't disrespect a legacy like AI's. Also iverson changed the culture for folks like Ja to be themselves.

AI got "annihilated" by the Lakers because they had way more talent than Iverson's team. His team mostly consisted of average players and fringe nba players and he dragged them to even beat LA once, when NO OTHER team had that postseason up to that point. AI also played in a way more physical era and still did what he did.
