Really great, quick guide! Taking it very slowly this time around so haven't done much prepping, but I know what a different it makes to know the game enough that you know what to expect coming in each patch. Back in Shb every patch content surprised me and I was so not prepared, took a few years to figure out on my own the cycle of things, so nice to see such guides going around to help people now!

Hey Perry thanks for the guide! Do i still need to gather this much if I already melded the high tier crafter bis set? The only thing I skipped penta-melding were my tools.

ehh as long as I eventually craft and meld it before 7.2 I'll be good (~late March/early April 2025)

I took a real stab at getting BIS crafter gear during the early days of 7.0, but I just couldn't deal with it. An obscene amount of work (or money I guess) for.... almost no real use, honestly. I still don't know how ya'll do it.

The crazy RNG on melding is what drove me away from pursuing BiS crafter/gatherer. Had enough of that junk in ShB, I guess. Godspeed to those of you willing and able to watch 200 materia give their lives for another +15 o7
