Neil is absolutely correct of course needing a human being but my thoughts then goes to “who is this human being?”. If this human being just happens to be unhinged mentally like so many egocentric megalomaniacs or psychopathically inclined; “what’s the difference?”. 🇨🇦🙏🇺🇸

The issue is the disconnect. I think Dr Tyson or someone said this somewhere, and it really is a profound statement. Having the ability to fire a an arrow from the distance made it easier to make the decision to kill because a) you are relatively safer at a distance, and b) because it makes you less symapthetic because you are less empathetically detatched. It became more pronounced with guns, and then it was aircrafts and bombs, then missiles. AI would only exaggerate it. I dont know about psychology or philosophy to really understand and come up with a solution, but it really is something that has to be taken into account.

They’re doing that in the IDF, but the human is far too removed in their selection -> kill process. A good balance needs to be found
