The thing is, there is no one agreed apon definition of life. It may not even be real. So the question is not if it is alive, it's what morals we should apply. Does an early term abortion harm anyone? No. It does not.

Dr. Jerome’s statement is itself an opinion. If you define a human being as a complete human genetic code, I guess you can say “human life begins at conception”. But if I had to make the choice between killing a fully-formed, sentient human vs. a fertilized egg, it’s no question to me what I’d choose. The relevant question seems to be not which is a “human”, but which is sentient. Clearly fully formed humans are sentient, but many scientists agree that sentience doesn’t begin in a fetus until the end of the 2nd trimester. By then, the vast majority of abortions have occurred

Human chimeras are people born with 2 sets of DNA. This can occur when the female ovulates 2 oocytes and then sperm cells fertilized both eggs then distinct embryos fuse into one embryo. Are human chimeras really 2 made up of 2 human beings?

Science says zygote not an individual human being since it has inherent ability to twin and reverse twin. Identical twins came from a single zygote so are each twin half a human being? What happened to original individual human being after splitting in two?
