Minecraft 1.21 Copper Fans would've been everything.... In a recent video posted on the Minecraft YouTube channel copper fans were sort of revealed to be a thing, as well as a strange display case thing. Today we dive into the newly revealed cut blocks, theorize, and talk about how they mightve worked.

I'm pretty sure that the tree display case is just a pot with a fence and a leaf block, surrounded by glass. It would make sense, and would be in scale with the player.
And the fan, looks more like an early version of a trial spawner, as it looks Cage-like, and the particals are the ominous particals raising up around it.

a copper fan would be a functional elevator that could work ANYWHERE. including the Nether (where bubble columns are not possible) it would be a way to move items, transport yourself up to an access point to the top of the nether, etc, etc

This sounds cool and could work if done right.

The Copper Fan is a alternative to bubble columns that is always slower and can only push instead of pull. It has a similar recipe to the Copper Bulb and can spawn naturally in the Trail Chambers as a uncollectible Trail Fan varient that is powered by a wind charge being fired at it.

Copper Fan:
Length - 10
Power - 1/2 bubble collum

Second Oxidation:
Length - 8
Power - 1/3 bubble collum

Third Oxidation:
Length - 6
Power - 1/4 bubble collum

Fourth Oxidation:
Length - 4
Power - 1/5 bubble collum

Maybe they wanted to add some kind of oxygen generator with the tree inside the display case, so this means mojang wanted to add oxygen system according how deep you go into caves? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Copper Fans would have been cool if they were a block that pushes you upwards when you stand on it. If you could control the height it pushed you upward based on the redstone input power (which I think would be better than basing it on oxidation state, but either way is fine) then you could chain these together for a player elevator, make them customizable for parkour courses, and would potentially provide a way to move players and items in the Nether where water cannot be placed.. Hopefully, Copper Fans end up in a future 1.21 "drop".

the thing with the tree in is to provide oxegyn which is why its connected with redstone to the fan

My theory: not copper fans, but... It's a copper magnet, being able to pull players from a serten distance and items, and can be turned on and of with Redstone power. Or has a reversed magnetism to push players by touching it to change its state, like a light detecter.

7:45 that seems more like snow particles, and for me it could like a sort of weather changer, you place it down and can change the weather for a small or large area.(just a concept)

Copper fans could be a really cool way to make a mechanical looking but also functional elytra launch spot depending on how the fans work. You could (pun intended) rocket yourself into the sky with a fan without the aid of a firework or riptide trident. I think it'd be a really cool thing to have as an elevator too.

I feel like the “display case” is just some sort of tree in a pot around glass, not inside a block of glass, but just glass is around it.

The reversible fan would be perfect for spider farms to keep them from climbing away
