ordered a 4070 super + i5 13600kf for 1840 should i have oredered a 7900 xt pc with ryzen 7600 for 1843(without cpu cooler) the guy that i went to his shop to build the pc he was strongly suggesting me the 4070 one

I currently have around £100 and a predator g3 710 which has a 1060 and I don’t know the cpu type but also I have a 75 hz monitor, do you think I should save up or upgrade my monitor first since it might be stopping the pc from getting high fps, my pc runs 120 fps unstable it normally flutters from 60-140fps depending on if I’m in a fight, if I am, it can drop down to 30 and freezes as well. What do u think I should do

No, 12400 and 4060 don't give you 240 fps in Battle Royale fortnite, I have 12600kf with 4060, (z690 32 gb 3600 ram, 3000/3000 ssd m2, all not OverClocked) and it easily makes 240+ fps (Perfomance!) in creative, but in B.R. in fight fps can be 190 and lower. Because of it you have to have a better PC for stable 240Hz

The 6750 XT and 4060 are not even close. Get the 6750 XT for its better performance and VRAM

I built this PC and when I turn it on, the motherboard LED’s and the CPU fan is the only thing that turns on. Should I return the case and try a new one? Also, without a cd rom, how do I get the motherboard to start working?

No way you just recommended getting a 4060 over rx gpus

its good but its even on the refurbished or used market way to expensive. okay the i3 u can get for a small wallet but the board and special the 4060 is overpriced. fortnite is a riddle nobody can rly solved. its hard to benchmark this crap.u can pick this setup up and dont get the same results. i would got the opposite way, with the r5 5600 with an rx 6600xt or 6650xt. maybe u will lose a few fps but will safe a lot of many. u would even notice that u will lose the fps if u dont count them. the 0.1% lows are not far away from the 4060 to the rx 6600xt. if u want save more money the rx 5700 xt would do the job too. i hate this game from a systembuilder perspective and of course from a gaming perspective^^ it looks like crap even on max settings this game eats a lot of hardware and did not look like it want eat a lof of hardware its still a toaster game... now for expansive toasters
