What a terrifying thing to endure. Imagine the PTSD and the survivor's guilt. That poor poor man.

"Why do you think you survived" is such a horrible inconsiderate question. Might as well follow up with "do you wish it was you that died?"

Bless you Julio Cervantes Suarez. The grief in his eyes truly shows he is struggling. Please get help so you can cope..survivors guilt is horrible to face alone. You are not alone!

Man, asking your nephew to come work with you and he doesn't make it...I would be messed up for life after surviving that one. I hope he finds purpose moving forward, because just getting a payout and thinking about that for the rest of his life won't help either.

In his hardest moments he didnt pray for himself..he prayed for his family and for his soul 😢💔 My heart hurts for all of the men and their families.

Never mind his vehicle had manual windows, it's incredible that he survived falling 18 stories high while in it.

Not a lick of english and universally we can all understand him from any nations. His eyes tell the story. Being the chosen one has a different meaning for him. I hope he gets all the help he needs. Condolences and prayers to all who lost their lives that day and their families.

Immigrant or citizen all they were doing was fixing pot holes which we all hate in the country on the roads, then this horrible tragedy happens. I hope they win the lawsuit and the bridge being rebuilt with new safety features to prevent future tragedies from happening again.

ugh my heart is sad that he will forever blame himself for his nephew even though he was NOT the one to blame.

I really really hope he is able to go to therapy or something because I cannot imagine the PTSD and the guilt he must hold. I didn’t realize that some of the other workers were also his family members and friends and that must be so painful for him.

They’re asking for billions for the bridge but aren’t asking anything for the families of the deceased?

Can't believe they made him do that interview looking like that, you can see the pain in his eyes

This man is truly traumatized by what happened to him. It wasn't his time to die. To many things lined up that saved his life. I hope the families Sue the boat company for loss of life and damages. This should have never happened.
