I was adopted 60 years ago after being in a foster home for some time. And I struck gold with the best loving parents I could’ve ever wished for.
Without them I don’t know who I would’ve become or ended up at. And I could never thank them enough.
Adoption is wonderful, because you are WANTED & CHOSEN.

My "daddy" adopted me at 4 days old, and I love that man like I am from his loins. There was a girl in 1st grade that used to mock me, and tell me I was adopted since my parents didn't love me, and my sweet southern Lady (y'all southerners know what I mean all ladies are women but not at women are ladies) Grandmother, who didn't have a mean bone in her body, told me this, "you tell that horrible child this your parents (hers) were stuck with you, mine picked me out." God bless y'all, she is absolutely precious.

When I married my wife her son just turned 5 the week before. Less than 1 week into our marriage her son asked me if he could call me dad. That was one of the most amazing days I’ve ever had.

I remembered the day my adopted daughter called me “daddy”. It was after she learned to say “I like candy”. Now my little beautidoo is going to college to become a veterinarian. How they grow up!

This little girl is so blessed & loved. I was adopted as a newborn. I called my father daddy until I was a teenager & then called him dad. I wish this family all the best!! <3

When my mother remarried, I got a fabulous stepfather. I’d wait at the top of the stairs and when he came through the door, I’d yell “Daddy” and he’d pick me up. Loved that man.
