My daughter was a huge Daddys girl when she was little. Now at 26 she still is a bit and still gives me hugs everytime i see her which is once a week. Greatest feeling in the world.

She reminds me of me at her age. My dad worked late shift so I listened to his car engine approaching our house every night. And when his car arrived at our garage door I just ran at the highest speed of light to greet him and hug him and talk to him. His coming home every night made my day. When you grow up you can't imagine how much it meant to you for your daddy or mommy to come back home and you jump to hug each other.

Safety issues aside, for anyone who is a father, or wants to be one, I have only one piece of advice; cherish, and I mean cherish every nano-second you spend with your kids. I have a daughter who's going to be seven soon, me and her mother and I divorced when she was four. I moved about 300 miles away for work and I'm lucky if I get to see her 4-5 times a year, less now since I'm out of work. I get to Skype her twice a week but it's not the same. I'm sobbing writing this, I miss and love my little girl so much. Just remember; cherish.
