i hate the trend of having digital buttons. i want to be able to do everything without looking. and no trundle style gear selector is just not great

Thank god there's binaural audio, that sound is so good ;)

I spent some time in an Ariya a few months back. The interior is definitely what makes this EV because the driving experience really wasn't anything special to me.

Those "return to center" indicator stalks are an automatic dealbreaker for me. Lived with them for a few days on a loaner - never again. I watch for them in every video.

Day 24 of asking Tedward to drive the S60R (I know kinda unrelated but nissan puting a nismo badge on this ariya is a crime)

I love my 2024 Ariya Platinum+ e-4ORCE in 2 tone white. The Nappa leather interior looks amazing, and I really like the dual screen infotainment setup. It’s a fun car to drive, but I’m not a fan of the spaceship sound when it's in sport mode. I got mine on a lease for $350 a month here in SoCal, including tax, with 12k miles a year for 24 months. It’s the top of the line model!

The comment about the AC not being strong enough is fascinating to me. My dad just picked one of these up yesterday and his main complaint was that it was too *STRONG* for him. I wonder if there's a quality control issue for that going on.

Damn that highway is a massive speed trap isn't it? Posted 45 and everyone is doing 60+

8:36 Volume knob is far from who? Looks great for front passenger to reach it. Doesn't the driver have volume control on the driving wheel?

Those bench style type seats in the front are interesting...

Wonder if these will have any sort of big altima energy vibes in a year

you never used the side to side buttons on the wheel when talking about what the dash can show you, there are more menus and then you scroll in each one for related items

Thank you for these interesting videos... my $550 Windstar with full leather has immediate cold air conditioning.

When I test drove the Ariya a couple months back genuinely I was not too fond of it. I found that the infotainement, specifically the in-built navigation was very iffy and not refined and how when using the screen it did not feel like you were genuinely tapping the screen but the layer of either glass or plastic that they put above the panel. There was a visible gap between where you finger touched and the screen behind. I was wondering if you noticed that as well? Another thing is how I found those touch buttons. I found them to be somewhat cheap looking with that faux-wood style panel that they are integrated within. The buttons also looked oddly large (?) I like large, easy-to-press buttons, but these ones...One thing I will say is that Nissan tends to do their seats pretty well, they were comfortable--more plush instead of sporty. While speaking of the buttons, the touch buttons on the center console are not my favorite. Another thing is, piano black window switches--the last place piano black should ever be, haha. One minor gripe I also have is that start-stop button, it looks very out of place and tacky. It just looks pasted there without any true effort into integrating it into the design of the dash. Another thing is that the front end of this car is beautifully done, it looks amazing, yet the rear...looks forgotten and just ugly. One thing I found odd is that when the car was in its 'one-pedal drive' mode its not truly one-pedal. The car slows to ~3-5 MPH but then it just rolls. I never got why Nissan did that. Now these are all comparisons I made to my Ioniq 5, which also has its own issues, but it is (in my opinion) a much better experience overall to drive. Finally, at 14:53 I also noticed that when driving, it was a weird feeling, especially seeing how my i5 does not suffer from that even with the cars being somewhat similar weights (the i5 being ~200-300 lbs lighter according to google). It was great to hear another persons thoughts on this car, while driving on somewhat local roads to me.

The miles of range is through the app. It’s easy on the app
