I definitely think it's a good change to make the Redstone torch actually red, but I think the reason I don't like it as much is because the solid cube when I'm used to the old torch just having the 0-thickness rectangles coming off of it, and the inside I think should be a darker red rather than pink. I think I could get used to it though.

the thing is, glowing red things have yellow in the middle as the more glowy part. like thats just how red lights look. the white and grayish red in the middle looks wrong because when we look at a glowing red light that is implied to be firelike, we expect it to be like fire with orange and yellow, not like a red LED.

I never noticed how jank the "glow" on the original model was. I can never unsee that weird floating corner so thank goodness it's changed.

The red cube is an inverted cube. Thats how it shows up behind things that are inside of it.

the only complain I have with this new torch is the fact that the red cube around it dont follow the size of the other "pixels" in the torch, it is strange to me but still looks good

unironically i love the new redstone torch, it looks super cool, like an actual magical torch made of redstone and not just another stick on fire like the other torches. it deserves to look different imo

i absolutely love this new texture. It looks far more like a 'device' than an archane object, and that suits redstone much better. It finally doesn't feel random that this thing power contraptions or inverts signal or burns out.
