Facts. I got an Alienware for 2k. Had a 3060 ti, a 11700k, and 16gb of ram. For the same price, I got a 3080, 5900x, and 32 gb of ram from micro center. Definitely DONT get Alienware

Most alienwares seem to be a 750-1250 markup on the individual parts, plus a weird case. I used to have one. It was good, but for the price i couldve had top of the line

I've got a a prebuilt CyberPowerPC and it was around $1700 with tax, and it's served me well for 2 years. Never had issues. Make sure you're always looking into what you're buying folks :)! Prebuilts aren't always bad if it's your first ever PC.

I have an alien where but we got it from a dude whose son died and had a bunch of games on it so my dad cleared it out and now I have a good PC for like $100. I think it was a great deal considering my last PC was a Dell laptop and it was not good at all.

Alienware has build a reputation since the early 2010's as that "Weird Gaming Brand" that are usually reserved for rich gamers, it's paying for that gaming brand and that logic also applies to other "Gamer" brands like razer. Although alienware is still a good brand, it doesn't justify the price, just like the fact that Carter not doing the Thug Shaker is unjustifiable

This just unlocked a memory from 2015 of all my pc buddies trashing Alienware for selling a gaming laptop that had all the same parts as a hp gaming laptop, but was 800 dollars more expensive.

After I saw this I went on Newegg and recreated one of their most expensive r16 pc’s and while on sale I made the same specs for over $300 less but at its regular price it would be $800 cheaper that’s insane

also for Alienware's laptops sometimes i get an error where the power button blinks and its indicating cmos battery failure but all i did was un-plug it and plug it back in, it goes away randomly, and im not allowed to charge it until it just decided to go away
