As an introvert, large social groups are extremely difficult for me and can leave me very drained and scattered. Between work and trying to help my dad I have not been doing yoga or even Tai Chi, so meditation has been a great way to re-center, remind myself to remain in what I am despite any craziness going on around me, and have tried to encourage another to do the same. Not only do I feel more grounded within myself, I feel I can synergize better with people I want to connect with, even in larger social settings (at least for a short time). Hopefully, reading this will help someone.
