Ha, I just sat back down to finish my lunch- which I stopped eating for an impromptu play session with my cat- and this was the first thing I watched. lol
I was like, "But, I want to finish eating my curry. D:"

When I get home at night, Betty is usually in the bedroom. I always announce myself, and she's laying in wait for her belly rubs on the bed. Once I get showered, I feed her din dins, I eat..(yes, she's first!) And then it's party time with her toys, snuggles, then goes back to bed while I stay up for hours watching YOU, Hulu and checking out the 'Flix.❤️❤️❤️ we have such awesome morning cuddles. P.s...I really wish people could send pictures in these messages. I'd love to show her to you! She's such a babydoll! A sassy one too...lol

Yup! Except at 2am I'm a little less moved by her carrying around her worm with a bell and making little brrrp noises😅
But she's still so cute we play a bit ❤

I'd spend hundreds of dollars trying to keep my cat entertained with toys but the only ones she would play with were the ones I'd make myself. Ultimately, her favorite one was a green ribbon that she'd chase around the room, sometimes for hours.

I try to play with my cat probably twice a day but he never responds to most toys. He hates the cat fishing rods (as I call them) The only toys he plays with are like ones that he can bat around or big ones that he hugs and kicks with his back legs. But if we even do much as touch his toys he looses interest. So we have taken to making cat forts/mazes etc out of cardboard and hiding his toys in them. This he loves and spends hours racing around them. So while I can’t play with him physically myself I still facilitate and encourage his play. I can only hope that’s enough for him. The cute little bugger he is 😊 he’s currently sleeping in my (was clean) washing basket 😂

I didn't want a cat that loved pouncing at my ankles all the time. Haha, so naive! Now, I use that "pouncing" obsession of hers to: play hide and seek, play tag, play fetch (well, more I throw, she attacks, gets bored, leaves it there and I have to get it), and lastly, when I want her to come to me. Calling her name--forget it! Hiding behind the sofa...she charges at me like her tail's on fire. I freakin' love that fluffy floof.

My king cat is an old chap, he can go outside and has plenty of secure space but I call him follower as he is a kind of shadow and follows every step I make. He came and has lived with me since a year ago, he looked at me and asked to be taken in for his retirement. He used to be my Queen's lover, so he knew I was a caring an dedicated mum cat. My beloved Qeen passed away a week ago so we're getting closer with Follower. I started playing a couple of minutes before his meals with him (that's his best performance) and I started a row food diet. He is an old strong cat that has been roaming around on his own for a long time. Now wants a safe and loving place where to spend his deserved pension.😺👑

Yes! It is fantastic to work from home now as we can take breaks throughout the day to play with our furry kids. They really love it, they feel more confident and calm afterwards, and everyone sleeps better at night. ❤️❤️
