Imagine someone actually telling him “It depends on how long you hold it” and he goes on saying weight is a measure of mass with a gravitational force applied, not a measure of volume

On the one hand, this is good advice if you’re holding onto things you don’t have to.
On the other hand, it’s very popular in the realm of toxic positivity to tell people to just stop feeling bad about things they CAN’T put down.

The fact that this video found me today is amazing. I've been stressed all day (nothing serious, just everyday life stress). Watching this made me take a breath and relax. I'm gonna go play with my son now. Thank you for this.

That question will be on the test too.

A. 8oz
B. 16oz
C. 12oz
D. It doesnt matter because my arm gets tired holding it for a long time.

The real problem is sometimes you have nowhere to put the glass. Then you stress about that, so you have another glass. Until you drop one and it breaks and causes more stress.

Crowd: ”8 ounces?” ”12 ounces??” ”16 ounces??”

This really helped as I just flunked a test as a “perfect student”. I have been having stress and anxiety all day so this helped me forget my struggles. :)

This is such great advice. If I worry about something for hours, it can lead to anxiety and panic attacks. If I can have a simple plan for a situation and do what is required, then i’m able to trust that I can face challenges as they arise.

Knowing there are people in the world who have it 10x as worse as you and are still happier than you eliminates stress for me. Things may still be hard, frustrating, and scary, but I have too much to be grateful for already.

Prof: How heavy is this glass?
Students : *tries to guess*

I’ve struggled to understand what people mean when they say to “let go” of worries, it always seemed like something I would be incapable to do, because stress is often related to things that are important to me, and I can’t just “let it go”.
I think this analogy is immensely helpful because it suggests the point isn’t to not care about things, it’s to manage the strain, to take a mental break once in a while. For some reason there is something so relieving about seeing it that way.

That was absolutely the best way to describe how stress can effect the human body!
