Thank you for a good video on replacing a garbage disposal unit. One thing to note in this video. When wiring the cord to the disposal unit it does matter which disposal wire connects to which cord wire. On the cord wire "jacket" one side has a rib or a stripe. The corresponding wire is to be connected to the white wire in the disposal. This assures the neutral and hot wires are wired correctly internally to the motor. Although the unit will operate, either way, this has to do with internal electrical insulation for personal safety. Thanks again from a retired union electrician.

Just completed an install thanks to you! You are awesome. For anyone else watching, this is the best tutorial for installing a garbage disposal. Also, the screws/nuts into the drain pipe are 10mm. I had to use a 1/4 socket and ratchet to break them loose.

I've been installing disposals since before I even knew what their purpose was. I'm pretty much the go-to guy in disposal installation. I thought I knew it all. That is until I watched this video.
