Welcome to my third interview with best-selling author & relationship counselor, Dr. John Gray. In this episode, we talk about relationship-issues, habituation and how to keep the spark alive.

In his book "Mars and Venus in the Workplace: A Practical Guide for Improving Communication and Getting Results at Work" John shows us the differences in the ways men and women communicate, solve problems, react to stress, earn respect, promote themselves, experience emotional support, minimize conflict, score points, and ask for what they want. By showing the many ways men and women misunderstand and misinterpret each other in the workplace, John offers practical advice on reducing unnecessary conflict and frustration. Mars and Venus In The Workplace will enable you to achieve your goals and to make the workplace a source of fulfillment.

Also, he is the author of the most well-known and trusted relationship book of all time, Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. USA Today listed his book as one of the top 10 most influential books of the last quarter-century. In hardcover, it was the #1 bestselling book of the 1990s. Dr. Gray’s books are translated into approximately 45 languages in more than 100 countries and continues to be a bestseller.

His Mars/Venus book series has forever changed the way men and women view their relationships. John helps men and women better understand and respect their differences in both personal and professional relationships. His approach combines specific communication techniques with healthy, nutritional choices that create the brain and body chemistry for lasting health, happiness, and romance.

With all this great knowledge, I’m surprised he ever left the lights on.

This Dr. has literally changed my life and how I view men and women and how I am in my relationships. I WAS the guy, too much masculine energy, b/c I had to be. He taught me how to receive and be the WOMAN, and wow— what a difference in my relationships and how I feel
about myself! Been with the same man now for over a decade and we’re in love like two teenagers. It’s not always easy, but I’ve learned how to steer this relationship knowing our gender differences. Thank you, Dr. Gray! 🎉

Patricia-you spoke of trauma at the exact moment (43 mins in) that I was commenting back to John “It’s not boredom, it’s trauma.” Thank you for bringing it to the conversation ❤️

1 word mitspah, emotional support is lacking. Women are highly frustrated and angree now because of it. Men fall back and regress to it. Causing less social interaction, hense the sadam and gamora effect. Just a look or attemt social interaction is undermined. Looking forward will cause humanady to faulter. Found this to be true on many cases with interactions with men and women, friends I know and personal experience. I've read your book. men are from Mars women are from Venus. ✌️

I had to skip forward her commentary, John is making a good point and she interrupts

then she repeats herself over and over to make her point and the idea John was carrying is lost

and the conversation carried elsewhere and the cycle repeats

it is as if the host likes to see herself in the camera and listening to herself "making her point"
