This is the video I watched 6 months ago.

This caused me to start taking a walk in the morning. That was all I needed. This sounds like fiction, but I've lost 60+ pounds since then. Taking a walk in the morning changes my mindset for the day. It was the rock that started the avalanche.

Whether or not anyone believes me, thank you so much for posting this video!

As an ENFP for my act of discipline, I will spend 10 minutes a day cleaning / decluttering my apartment. This will be five minutes when I wake up in the morning and 5 minutes before I go to bed.

oof. Yeah, this all hits home for me. I've tried scheduling my day a few times, but I always end up failing to stick to it. But again, that's that whole ENFP "I'm changing everything today!" story, I'm going to start by scheduling an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon and leaving the rest unscheduled for now to build my discipline.

Great video! I have ADHD as well and sometimes I feel like I have wasted my whole day.... So, I am going to set out 20 minutes to meditate before I start my day and take cold showers. Thank you!!

I'm an ENFP that has failed an exam I need to take a few times. I promised myself I wouldn't try it one last time, till I build my discipline up again. I will use your techniques and let you know how it goes. Thanks for making the video, a lot of it rang true for my ENFP self.

I spent 18 months on writing my master thesis because I had no focus. It was so bad for me. My supervisor noticed this and coached me. That helped me a lot. That's why what you do is so valuable to me Dan. Thank you so much. I wish I had discovered your channel earlier. 4 ever Enfp

Thank you for this video!! I come from a family of INFJs and ENFJs, and as an INFP I am so far from their level of discipline! Honestly, when I first found out about personality types, I accepted it as 'oh, its okay, it's my personality type - I'm just not meant to be so organised.' But it kind of sucks hahaaaa so I'm currently on a mission to become the ultimate healthy INFP :D Actually, I'm familiarising myself with the cognitive functions and realise now, that in order to be healthy, I must start developing the weaker Si and Te -- so that's my long winded explanation of my 2021 plans Anyway, this video is more helpful than I'd have guess so I'm super grateful :)

I am an INFP and it's true that you say that discipline is a muscle. At one a time this muscle was very strong but from past bad experiences I started living day after day, dont want to be uncomfortable. This had bad consequences in my life : bad school grades, lack of motivation, losing jobs etc. I want to gain back my discipline and your video is a great start.

I deactivated my FB temporary, two weeks ago.. to avoid distractions, for i need to do something very important.. that will include too much focus, brain power and discipline.

I find it liberating..

I know about myself, that I really need to know the reason, why to stop doing what I do. I need to know, that living without it, my life will be better. It is quite unusual, that as a 18 year old I don't have facebook account, I don't consume gluten and third month I don't drink alcohol (with small exeptions). I'm learning how to work with myself to get my ideal life. I totally agree with you when it comes to thinking about discipline like it's a muscle and taking one thing after another. I'm looking forward next video :)

I restarted to meditate daily in the beginning of the year. Even though I used to do it 20mins a day a few years ago, I thought, ok, 5mins are achievable for me now. So, two months are over, I watched this video, I'm ready to take the next step to build up my discipline muscle... I'll meditate 10mins each day as from tomorrow :)

Agreed. Once routinized by discipline, I accomplish and astonish. There’s a Drill Sargent in there, trying to help me survive, but when he’s run by my lower functions, he’s too harsh. When he takes a vacation, he’s not there. Training this trainer takes awhile. My life’s on a big cusp now, but once free, I’m interested in getting “coached” very soon.

I appreciate the scheduling advice.

I just find myself dreading most things that I have planned and spend my whole day battling myself over it.

Must just be because I give in to the easy route of not doing it too much. Which makes me even more mad at myself lol.
