I left a lot of helpful tools for self-improvement in the discord. It's also a great place to find like-minded people

It makes me happy, knowing that there are people out there who genuinely want people to be OK

to me, being disciplined means being a disciple of principles. in other words, commitment to worthy ideals like waking up and going to bed on time, regular exercise, making time for reading and writing, making time for other people etc etc. find good principles and commit to them for the good they'll do in your life. it's easy.

answering the 3 questions you gave out was quite tricky, Because....

I don't know what I really want in my life, because I've found myself busy with the dopamine rush, my friends, and other unhealthy things. It's a bit hard to admit, but a part of me is too comfortable with this kind of lifestyle, which leads to my next answer

I don't know if I really want to change yet. I know I have to because there are so many things I have to improve, and yet I worry about a future where I have to work a lot all day. In a sense, I'm not ready to face adult life, I just want to enjoy what I have right now.

But yes, I do want to want to change. I'm just not sure how I can make that happen. What I do know, however, is that I have to think about what I truly want, in life, and it's thanks to you! I may not find a definite answer now, but hopefully I'll still have time to figure out myself.

Thank you!

I enjoy the calm style of editing, it helped me focus on the content of the video. I love those calm moments in anime where the characters just have a chill moment enjoying life for a bit. I am dealing with my own self motivation/discipline issues so these type of videos help me keep my head clear and thinking about how to improve

Best video i've watched in years (and I've watched way too many at this point thanks to my procrastination). This video has given me faith to start climbing back to my old ways, this is life-changing... I can't thank you enough😭

I've watched a many productivity videos. It's amazing how you compressed a lot of main ideas into a seven minutes video. Though what we gotta do before all of that is taking the action.
Subbed, look forward to your future videos

guys, if you’re anything like me who invests a lot of time in watching self improvement videos and are not actually doing the tips, take time to applaud yourself for even being aware of your problems and seeking out help. now, take this activity to the next level and seek for deeper and meaningful ways of consuming self improvement content and that could range from talking to others, reading articles or even comments or writing and making a spreadsheet and document of reflections/journals.
also one tip i’d leave you with is just solve a bunch of problems through ONE major problem such as sleeping patterns. so if you hardly or constantly sleep or just have bad sleeping habits, giving yourself a couple good weeks to a month on just focusing on fixing your sleep can easily fix your mood, memory, give structure, heal your brain and the list goes on.
Lastly, remind yourself that when you watch videos like this, a part of your brain recognize your deep interest and commitment to wanting to become whoever you imagine, you’re closer than you think you are, keep reaching out, go deeper and truly take these redundant tips to heart no matter how many times you hear them and think they’re useless

I’m glad you brought up time management because that’s what I struggle with the most. I have been described as disciplined by my peers, professors, coworkers, and bosses/managers but I’ve found they are really just talking about my behavior when dealing with others and not my time management or my attitude towards myself. Being disciplined doesn’t just mean being well mannered, it also means taking care of yourself and your priorities in an efficient and effective way which is something I have not yet mastered and, quite frankly, have gotten worse at since I started college. I feel like I was the most disciplined in high school when I had a rigid schedule due to sports, orchestra, and honors classes and I couldn’t really afford to procrastinate or “goof off”. But this schedule did eventually lead to burnout which I think is why I tried to have as loose a schedule as possible when I started college to avoid stress. But this type of scheduling has also has its downsides because I am way less productive and tend to waste a lot of time and when I have exams or projects I tend to be even more stressed because I put everything off until the last minute. I think I just need to find a healthy medium where I have time to myself but also have enough things to keep me busy to discourage procrastination and time wasting.

This was kinda like when I wanted to quit eating excessive amounts of sugary foods. At first, it was "I need salads, I need something healthy, and need to eliminate sugar entirely from my diet". But then, I was like, "ya know what? I'm gonna stop eating excessive amounts of sugar, and I'm gonna cut back." I finished that share sized bag of Mike and Ikes that day, and on the same day, I avoided excessive sugar foods. It was hard, but I was able to get off that sugar addiction, and now I feel better with more energy.

Wow genuinely wow. This comment might go on a while, but idk it’s how I feel lol. This video is so helpful. I always ask my family and friends how to become disciplined and whatnot and they never really answer(not because they don’t believe in me or because they aren’t disciplined I think it’s just cause it’s kinda a hard question to answer), but this video was very helpful. I always heard don’t just try to full send it because that’ll always fail. I just never understood the why. Seeing this kinda opened my eyes and journaling what the ideal me and the “real” me had differences with kinda showed me my beliefs were materialistic and also not too different than what I am implementing now. It made me reflect and realize that I am a lot better than where I was before. It showed me that even the crappy attempts to become better are still making me better, it also proved that becoming who I want to be is a lot more feasible than I thought. I think thanks to this video I might start journaling I also think I’ll be a lot more consistent and disciplined now. Much love and thank you for making this video❤✌️
