Hi, if I have a gas powered pump outside a basement garage that can discharge directly to ground with no lift needed but the intake hose is 30-50 feet in the garage below (access through a stairwell), do you see any flow issues with any pumps rated at 85 ft ? Side note : the water pumped out is dirty water from pressure cleaning/washing a garage floor (max of 14 gpm) where the sand/dirt will clog the drains.

Its very interesting topic but my question is suppose the pump is limited up to 25ft suction lift is it possible to prime to satisfy the max.suction lift?Is priming method effective especially in hills.Thank you.

Good day, I have a Honda WX10T thats rated for 37m. It has a 1in discharge port. I used a bell reducer to reduce from 1 in to 3/4 in PE pipe. The PE pipe is 150m with approximate elevation of 30m to destination. But the water was not able to reach the required elevation. If i used a 1 in PE pipe, would it be able to reach max Total head of 37m?

Hello i have one queistion. I have that pump. ITs Honda 3". I have some pipes in the field that are 2" diameter. Would it increase the suction pressure for 21 feet deep pipe in water well that is 90 feet deep if i reduce that suction pipe from 3" to 2"

Hello, I'm looking between a 2500 gph & 4500 gph for a backyard pond waterfall. I'm fairly new at this. The waterfall starts at 6 feet elevation about 20 feet away from the pond and flows over a rock formation (20 ft long) gradually decending until it reaches a 24 inch cliff at the end which spills into the pond. The entire width of the decending water feature & cliff is 16 inches wide. (So fairly narrow) I would like a decent flow. The 2500 has a head lift of 19 ft and the 4500 has head lift of 23 ft. Which would you suggest? Would the 2500 be enough? Is 4500 overkill? Thanks in advance. 🙂
