This is so scary though. Nobody is perfect so of course a lot of celebrities are going to have scandals or things they hide in their closets. This shouldn't take from how hard they work for their careers. They deserve to have privacy. Unless it's a criminal offense that they did I don't see anything here that warrants so much hate towards them. At the end of the day they're just people. They should be able to enjoy their right to privacy. It was a good move to sue

This is so crazy. It’s sad rumors could really hurt someone. And what makes it even more sad is people really do believe some of the stuff that they hear without even hearing from the celebrity side. I can’t imagine how many Korean celebrities have basically been destroyed because of false rumors. And because of the fact that nobody was willing to hear their side of the story.

This x-files could be considered as predecessor of "infos from sasaengs" that have been circulated for a while, so i would usually take that kind of files with a huge grain of salt. It is really sad that people tends to look at the rumors section with "they make a lot of money anyway, so let's roast them to make me feel good about myself" mentality instead of innocent untill proven guilty way, because there are so many times when people's dreams and life have been destroyed before the rumours are told to be false

It makes sense that the focus is on the idol's popularity, image and personality. As the success of a marketing campaign consisting of a celebrity, is not affected by the celebrity's skills but by their popularity and the public image that they obtain. Moreover, the idol's personality matters as it will point out how difficult/easy it will be to work with the certain celebrity. Lastly, them caring about rumours or possible truths that are yet to be public also makes a lot of sense, negative rumours are bound to negatively affect the celebrity's image and subsequently affect the campaign.
