How would you find inverse function of y= arccos (x+1)? Would i/we have to apply the knowledge that arccos ( x+1) is inverse to cos(y) = x + 1? My question arises if there is a step/process of getting to the 2nd step? Of course after that, you would put the 1 to the left, and swap x and y's over and that would be the inverse, if my process is correct?

Final note is, your videos are useful, and thanks for your stand in A level maths across the UK.

What do i do when i have an inverse composite function? Like in fgh^-1(x) do i work out fgh(x) first or h^-1(x) ?

Hi sir,
How about if you had the function f(x) = 1/(1+sinx), domain [0, pi]? I'm told the inverse cannot exist, but I can't seem to logically work out why this is

How can we find the inverse of cube root(x^3-30x-45)? I am struggling to rearrange this for x

Hi Jack, just wondering if it's all the x and y's that swap? I've been doing some questions and found only the f(x) becomes y - is this a case by case thing? Or am I doing something wrong

when u made the graph of y=2x+3 then how did u find the value of -3/2 on the x axis. Like how did u plot it?
