I am from India, My dad worked in Oil company called GMOS for more than 45 years - he feels very bad and some tear up by seeing in the TV about Syria , he is now 73 years .
He has taken pictures of the beautiful Euphrates River and many things ! Always said good things about Syrian people and their love ! I have tasted Kabus ! the syrian version of Nanan

That man who was selling Imli ka juice was saying "Tamar Hindi" while pouring juice into glass, for those who don't know what Tamar Hind is, Tamar Hindi means Indian date, if you translate it word to word, Tamar means date and Hind means India in Arabic. since last hundreds or maybe thousands of years Arabs import Tamarind from India and they call it Indian date as it doesn't grow there in the Arab world. Infact the English word tamarind itself generated from an Arabic word Tamar Hind.
