Syrians are so kind. I met my first Syrian out here in LA, I thought he was too kind till I found out that Syrians are always like that.

Thank you, man, for trying to show my country beautifully, while the whole world seeks to distort its image. Syria is beautiful and will one day return to what it was. This is absolute belief. You can visit the Syrian coast, it is amazing and warm, I hope you have a good time.

One of the person I've loved most in my life is a Syrian girl her name is Asma Ibrahim. The love I felt for her was unique and I'll never forget that beautiful relationship. The Syrian people are one of the sweetest earth and I hope the conflict ends sooner than later 🙏🏼

In all Islamic countries, fortunately, the prices of food items are affordable. I am from Afghanistan, and in Afghanistan, seven kilograms (15.4 pounds) of apples cost is 0.50 $

Marshmallows candy, Bearpaw Danish, fruit drink, pizza, small water...free 🍵hot tea. In America. That's $20⁰⁰, ,,with tea $6⁰⁰. Based on nyc prices at cheap of standard shops 😢

For reference back in early - mid 2019 one USD would get you 515 Syrian liras. Inflation skyrocketed after the pandemic and the Lebanese economy crisis.

In Greece 1$ is almost equal to 1euro we use. We can buy 1.5 litre (0, 39 gallons) bottle of water or for example 0.5 kg
(1, 10 pounds) of apples. The cheapest food you can possibly buy is a 2.80$ frozen low quality sandwich from small kiosk markets.

The "Indian Date" juice isn't exactly what it sounds like. Idk how you got your translation, but the two words meaning "Indian date" (tamr hindi, تمر هندي) in Levantine Arabic actually refers to another plant: which would be tamarind! It's extremely hard to extract juice from dates, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm inclined to believe that you had tamarind juice :D

Now you will find some who compare the prices of some products with others and say that you are being deceived and they will not forget, but this is actually the meaning of things depending on their cost and the place of purchase, but what bothers me is how you can buy things for hundreds of dollars in your countries, and when you come and buy something for a quarter of a cent, you say that we were deceived.
