The third act felt like M Night genuinely had one of his best scripts in years coming to an exciting revelation and conclusion… and then someone ripped the script from his hand and had a 16 year old with ADHD finish it.

Wow the hate on this movie is a little much, yeah it had problems but it was a very enjoyable movie. Hartnett’s acting was fantastic though

Idk, felt like the movie was more about promoting his kids music then entertaining the audience...I thought the premise was good but the movie kind of failed in delivering any memorable scenes or moments where josh did anything to shock the audience as "the butcher" except that one scene where he pushes the lady..most of it was him being a normal dad with psychotic tendencies and the acting was decent but the way it played out started good then got dry as things went along..definitely regret paying for it but always try to give movies a chance...2/5 for me personally

Atmospheric and interesting first and second acts then it inevitably falls of the proverbial cliff.

There was nothing in this film that had an ounce of realism. Not a shred. It was terrible.

The tension comes from the lie that there is going to be a twist. It was awful.

I strongly agree with you on the lackluster third act. I saw It today with little expectations and I still ended up feeling like I wasted my time especially with the last 40 minutes. It's better than "Knock at the Cabin" for sure but the plot made no sense especially after the reveal.

What I thought was foreshadowing (Lady Raven having asthma, the hidden door leading backstage, the Karen mom going after Cooper...) actually served no purpose and went nowhere.

The trailers hinted at an organized murder spree during the concert, with a clever back and forth investigation between the profiler and the butcher chopping off his victims but we had none of that. Cooper's daughter had no resolution to her story and the biggest offender was the mum knowing her husband was the killer all along and still agreed to leave her daughter alone with him at the concert and putting thousands of people in danger. Make It make sense.

My ideal ending would’ve been, Lady Raven goes to their house and reveals he’s the Butcher. The whole family is like, “damn. Now we have to kill get cuz she knows”.

Movie ends 30 min earlier. Fun twist. We could all appreciate this movie as a fun cheesy thriller. But it went on just a little too long for me. Still enjoyed it though.

Last third is just lame, was really hoping for stronger ending but every clip got dumber and dumber towards the end. It seemed he wrote a good idea and script but then got lazy towards the end and asked some interns to write the last parts

Not clue what u we’re watching but this movie was awful. It never went anywhere. All those ridiculous escapes that weren’t believable at all and then he gets arrested? Waste of time.
