Having a microchip inside your brain would literally make your brain vulnerable to hacking attacks. and thats super dangerous, it's basically them going into, and modifying your brain and it's memories.
Us humans and technology are evolving fast, but where is the line where we should stop, turning our brains into computers?
The idea of these microchips sound cool, but also terrifying. I don't know if i should trust Elon Musk. I would probably be one of the last to get this microchip
Heck, this microchip could even cause an apocalypse if we're not careful, we're mixing reality with technology a bit too much here.

I would definitely say NO!! To a chip in my brain because already we all are so addicted to smartphone and laptops and all other technology .
And the main reason is that we will not have to do any hard work anymore to achieve anything, instead we will simply download the skill we want in our brain.

My thoughts on this:
We are already getting disconnected from the people around us and the physical world and just getting addicted to technology . I am afraid we will reach a point where if we want to connect back to the physical world we might not be able to .

In my opinion this device shouldn't be broadly sold but instead it should exclusively be available only for medical treatments nothing more. But atm it seems like its built for a purpose with helping sick and disabled people, i like it :)

my issue is that those who don't want to have the microchip, would get left behind and, in a sense, be "useless" because all the other people with the microchips have much better capabilities and could have more control. this could also be in the same essence for jobs, people with microchips would be able to secure a job while people without microchips would be left redundant.

edit: this is like a really rough idea of my argument against microchips, i'll elaborate on it later if anyone wishes

This would be a HUGE no for me. I always found it strange how people thought being a robot is cool. With this we can make no mistakes! But if we don't make mistakes, what is there to learn? Learning is the fun in life and without it we will just have a boring life. And if we get hacked, What happens to our memories? Someone will be tracking me every moment and that just terrifies me. And those people who would do it would have an advantage of those who don't.
This idea absolutely has good intentions, but the result can be scary.

I've supported Elon Musk from the moment I new about him, but if it means losing the ability to interact socially or atleast even touch your loved ones I would say no because we humans evolved to be social not to be alone and what about the poor, huh?
If the poor don't have the device they would be even more disrespected than ever and you could lose your life if someone hacked you and a memory is literally nothing infront of really being with one and even this device won't be able to cure a depression of losing a loved one.
The crime rate would increase more than ever.

NO. if we start adopting these kind of technologies we will get dependent on it and lose our natural abilities. But yes it can be useful for medical treatments.

I'd rather be useless than going too far into digital world. I learned something in life. Always take some, not too little not too many. Because if you took so much you wouldn't be able to carry all of it and if you take too little you won't get enough.

I would really love to say NO to this microchip in the brain. Because if result of thing gets failed then there could be serious problem and damages. I do admit that it has a great advantages, but it also have disadvantages. And having disadvantages in this thing is not something normal. So I really disagreed with this invention.

This reminds me of the conspiracy theory that said that in the future, humans and machines will be one if people do not stop. And, I feel like it will if things keep on continuing like this. Either make the chip resistant to hackers and give it to very limited people or just don't do it at all.
