A part that was left out, was that he played the game civilization VI for 8 hours straight using this device.

Step 1: Brain runs computer.
Step 2: Computer runs brain.

My husband was a quadriplegic for eight years befor he passed. He had a MAC computer. There was a metallic dot on his glasses which was read by the camera turning it into a mouse. He also had naturspeeking. He was able to do anything, Netflix, engineering drawings, Skype etc. worked great for him as it opened the world to him again. Congratulations and continued good work.

WOOOW “not a big technical leap”. If you listen to the keynote, the guy is ecstatic, he looks forward to life every day now, and has achieved much more than this.

WSJ is a joke..."Not a big technical leap"..ok, but at least explain the significance of this. Its like saying the Iphone wasnt a breakthrough because touch screens werent new.

The news is kinda misleading
Neuralink helped him move a cursor not play the game of chess by thinking for him .

Why is this the most annoying audio ever? This is WSJ??

I am happy for this man, but I am still skeptical. You know Neuralink will evantually be used to send ads directly to your brain at some point. Also, I worry about any corporation having direct control over my thoughts. No thank you.

Such a momentous occasion shot on a mobile phone camera. This is breaking news, couldn't it be presented professionally Neuralink?

Imagine going from not being able to move from your arms down to being able to control a computer with your mind. It must be liberating.

WSJ's weird, obsessive dislike for Musk clouds any sort of judgement. Amazing breakthrough.

Homie got a telekinesis brain chip but could only get early 2000's phone camera to record the results? Come on guys!

So wait.. this is making fun of the link, or supporting it? I mean... why show this video if you're going to say: "its been done already".
