Most anime dubs: Let's make it as close to the original as possible (taking into account mouth flaps and other problems dubbers face) so English viewers can enjoy it without any issue.

Ghost stories: *stumbles in after a 3 day alcohol and drug-filled bender* Okay... okay... no.

As someone who prefers watching anime subbed, English dub was surprisingly hilarious, witty and more vulgar. English Momoko stole the scene for me.

*Momoko:* "When I volunteered at that wonderful exorcist homosexual conversion camp, I met this woman there who looked a lot like this lesbian- I mean woman."
*Satsuki:* "By any chance you don't remember what her name was?"
*Momoko:* "Kayako?"
*Keiichiro:* "That's our mother!"
*Momoko:* "What?... I'm so sorry, I mean Praise God"
