Hey, someone who actually got stuck under water before, it's actually pretty hard to breathe over than 30 seconds. It's hard to tell which was IS up. I would've died if I wasnt lucky, I won't lie, I didn't do anything "WOW." Also, trying not to panic is nearly impossible (granted I didn't have an air pocket). Anyway here's my story:

So I was on the beach (12 with a 14 year old brother and a 41 years old mom) and I went into the water to go boogie boarding. I went UNDER the wave which would've been fine, but another BIGGER wave which engulfed me, still not breathing in an air pocket. Before I could get up another wave went over me and practically ate me. The only way I got out was from the big waves getting smaller. I didn't have enough energy to even get up so I was laying on the sand screaming in pain (my skin kept scraping against the sand and I was actually bleeding) my mother just kept recording and my brother told me to get up.

So yes, that's my story.
