I feel so bad for all who need this help. All are in my prayers.

This is sad, take the senates salaries, until they come up with agreement.

This pandemic is not over. All help needs to be extended long term.

I think it is heartless for our government to cut these payments off. This will affect all of us. I would rather pay more in taxes than have millions of people homeless and desperate to survive. Think about some of the poor choices some people might make in an effort to feed their families. This is not good people.

This is really sad. Hoping people don’t loose roof off their head.

We have to now worry about getting evicted on top of dying without a mask and have no food to eat?? 🤦‍♀️ answer this...if all of these families gonna be living on the streets in the mid of a deadly pandemic then how are the kids gonna be abled to go to school rather its virtual or in person? And how are they gonna be abled to concentrate with all this going on? It's much and all Americans shld be protected...everything shld be extended at least till the end of the year.

There are no jobs where I live! We are a tourist economy. All bars are shut down. The hotels are empty and the hospitals are full. The Republicans need to pay a price at the polls for this!

Congress cannot prohibit evictions indefinitely without also bailing out landlords.

The rich just keep getting richer but you wait and see when people are desperate. They're coming right up in those rich communities sad but true.

CEOs and management need to take huge cuts in salaries so they can pay furlough.

That ought to be the final nail in the coffin for Republicans.

Meanwhile "essential" workers are still getting less than $600 a week for 40 hours of work, and their stories of actually buying food and paying their rent aren't covered.

This is simply unacceptable. The government needs to extend those unemployment benefits. Not right to create a homeless crisis in the middle of a pandemic that’s ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE! Those horrible politicians need to do what’s right.

If I was a landlord I would be selling my properties because if people can't pay rent then as a landlord I can't pay the money for the property

On the flip side, the Senate went home to rest up for the next session.
Gotta be fresh for weeks more of discussions on this!

People have to bunk up with their families and friends. Those in dire straights I pray they can hunker down and ask close ones for help. Downsize and share space for the next year or two and come out of this hopefully better and closer than before. It’s going to take some real humility and stripping down to necessities and hopefully some gov. aid and compassion from landlords and the like but you can make it through with careful planning and support from loved ones or community. I just want to wake up in 2023 and I hope we will be stronger, nicer, smarter, healthier, and wealthier some way; somehow🙏#wakemewhenitsover
