Written in Red is really worth getting into, as in a series overall. It's supernatural with dark elements, slow-burn romance with a hero, who literally worships the heroine, it gives really good found family feels as you go further too.

Also the sequel to the thief, the queen of Attolia, is absolutely amazing and the series has recently wrapped up so I’d highly recommend giving it a go, especially as the audiobooks are on scribd and are pretty good

Man, i've been watching unhauls lately and it REALLY solidifies why I use the library and buy secondhand xD I only buy books for my shelves that I've really loved and either mean something to me or I just loved that much.

Even though you unhauled The Thief, I think you would love the next book in the series (The Queen of Attolia). It has an absolutely iconic enemies-to-lovers romance and some great twists.

I have read The Thief and have continued the series up to the fourth book, so I think it would be definitely worth your time to continue reading the series. There's some really cool characters, plot twists, romance, and relationships down the line. These books remain unpredictable and they always give me an adrenaline rush.

Kind of sad to see you getting rid of the Thief, but there’s a good chance your library has the series in some format if you decide to come back to it later. Okay IMO the first book is the slowest of the series, so if you enjoyed that one, it’s even better from there. 😎
