What I have learned from this video are (1) important concepts and terminology in statistics, particularly focusing on population and sample distinctions. (2) I now understand that the population refers to the complete set of all possible observations, while a sample is a subset of the population selected for study purposes. (3) I have grasped the difference between parameters and statistics: parameters are measurements derived from the population, while statistics are measurements derived from the sample and used to estimate parameters when they are unknown. (4) I have also gained clarity on the distinction between discrete and continuous random variables. (5) Additionally, you've realized the importance of understanding these fundamental concepts for further learning in nonparametric statistics. Assalamualaikum Dr., I’m Nur Rabiyatul Najwa bt Yuzaimi (D20211100351) from group A. From the video, i got the explanation about all the terms in statistics. From that, i see that each term are related each other .For example, the sample is the selection of a few element from the population.Parameter is the measure that describes a population while Statistics is measure that describes a sample.Beside that, we should use statistics to estimate the unknown of parameter because it is impossible to consider the element in population.Thank you dr for the explanation.
