I dropped a short a while ago saying that Mark can’t beat Atom Eve and half of the comments are filled with people telling me he beat her in another universe so I have to be wrong, well just for some context I wanted to give you the reason I said that in the first place. You see, in our main Invincible Universe unlike the side universe, Atom Eve has actually displayed the ability to remove the limits on her power and pretty much gain control over all of the atoms around her, including the ones that make up living beings like herself and even Viltrumites. The best example of this early on is how she revives herself after her fight with Conquest, or even in her Amazon Prime Prequel Special, but basically if Atom Eve removes this limiter it’s nothing for her to use her powers on Mark or any other Viltrumite to control their matter at her leisure, which is why in MY opinion I don’t think Mark would be able to ever truly beat her in a life or death fight, because even if he ended her she would revive and using that reawakening she would probably melt him like she did to half of Conquests body, and that explains why

Atom eve is way more broken than ppl think. Her power is no joke.

Her limiter only gets removed in times of extreme stress, as a kid she was immature and death of her loved ones was enough to do that, but now that she’s older the catalyst for her awakenings have changed AKA Death, but it has to be a slow death, slow enough that her mind can process the fact that she’s dying. So ripping off her head would actually kill her, but impaling would only give her the catalyst needed to temporarily remove limiter, and Luckily Viltrumites have a bad habit of underestimating humans, and fail to kill her quickly instead letting her slowly die. Also her full potential usually lasts one or two moves after which she goes back to normal

The issue is she usually has to be near death to remove the limiter. I'm pretty sure if you do a swift kill, she doesn't get the chance. Unfortunately for everyone in the main universe who has tried to kill her before, they always try to torture her and or bleed her out. It's never a decapitation or like head crush.

The whole *Mark defeated her in the another verse* reason why is simple: he didn't want to kill her and even if he did kill her, she'd have a second health bar and more hax

She can only use the powers when she is still partially alive, like when thragg attacks them, she is not fully dead when she uses her powers, but if you just cut off her head than she would die instantly and not revive because she can only heal herself not bring herself back from death, she needs to be conscious to do it.

Eve has constantly been shown to be weaker than viltrumites such as thragg and conquest. Both of which, Mark is stronger than. No matter how strong you want her to be. Mark is and has always been shown to be the most powerful person in the comic. He is invincible. Literally. Atom Eve can be incapacitated as shown by alternate universe Mark, and Atom Eve can starve to death. Here powers for revive uses extra calories. Without those she can die.

The problem is eve's powers are not connected with her DNA, which means if you take away her powers she will just be a normal human forever. Because she had a daughter with Mark and her is 50% viltrumite. Her powers can't be shared. Her daughter would have been op with eve and mark's powers.

Thats how she lost, though. In the other universe they paralyzed her. No death, no limiter removal. Tis a very simple work around.

If mark nearly killed her in the main universe she would resurrect alongside removing whatever mind control or manipulation led to him trying-it is entirely possible she can make both her and mark live forever (in the case she cant actually allow herself to die, as she did with old age)

Yea but we never really have seen her powers be used to the extent that they can be, when fighting thraggs army she was the one who was overwhelmed, even a lightweight viltrumite like oliver held his own better against thraggs kids

I love that people will argue using flimsy logic like he beat her in a different universe so he'd win in the main universe. Um, nope, shed melt him in seconds if he actively tried or did momentarily end her like the pineapple said she'd reform herself, and then it would be game over for mark. Mark might have an extremely long life, but she is actually immortal. The fight isn't even remotely fair for Mark.

Well Mohawk Mark killed his atom eve. And atom eve breaker her limiter during near death situations wasn’t a skill she had to master it’s just part of her ability something that happens automatically. So I think there’s no reason to assume that Mohawk Mark’s Eve couldn’t heal herself in near death situation, implying that it is possible to kill her, it just has to be done in an instant before her powers have time to activate and heal her.

Also, I think her being able to be killed is necessary for the story to have stakes at least for her character.

Another thing is that Mark in the alternate universe never KILLED her, he paralyzed her. She can, if she could in that universe, very much revive herself if she wanted if it wasn’t too late to converse her into the Viltrumite mindset.

That's why Mark paralyzed her, because you physically cannot kill her, but her limit won't break from paralysis

I feel like alternate equivalents to characters we know aren't as strong as main characters. like during the invincible war when the guardians of the globe are cornered and rex stays behind To take on one of the evil invincible, rex kills him by charging up is own skeleton and blowing himself up along with said evil invincible. While our main invincible took a nuke in Nevada, the moon exploding and planet viltrum exploding along with a dip on the sun's surface. So yeah I doubt alternate character variants are created equal
