For the peeps that don't know much about the Mustang, it's bet run is 9.80s on pump gas and is driven everywhere. The pass in this video was a 10.39 on a 96º day tapping the brakes out the back. It still retains the stock interior and AC. Weighs in at 3900 lbs, I built this car to be fast, reliable and drive where-ever, when-ever I feel like driving it. It's very reliable, over 400 runs on it and 6000+ miles with no breakage.

For the Mustang lovers. I just had the car dyno'd on race gas and a smaller pulley. It picked up 50 rwhp....so it's over 700 now. I drove it to the tuners (just under 400 miles) and averaged 26.8 mpg. The car only runs 3.31 gears and tac's 1800 at 70 mph.

Mustangs are cool. Affordable. Easily modified to go faster. It is pretty much endless what you can do to a car. But the Mustang is so easy to work on. But that does not take away from the GTR. It is a great car in its own right. right out of the box. I would love to have a GTR. But I could buy a fully loaded stang + a camaro or a challenger.

The Mustang is my car. Just an FYI, the car is driven all the time, just made a 400 mile trip to get tuned again. It is 100% street legal and has full interior with all amenities. You really should get the facts before speaking. This combo has 6000+ miles on it and over 400 qtr mile runs....with no breakage.

Its all about bang for the money the more u spent on the car the faster it ll get gtr they are expensive stock form they are fast a mustang 50 around 30k they r quick but not as fast as the gtr stock for stock drop 10k on that mustang with a turbo and it ll keep up or beat a stock gtr i like them both but im too broke to afford a gtr

I didnt build my car for a road track, so I don't pretend or care that a GTR could beat it in that environment. I am getting tuned right now with more boost looking for 100% streetable mid 9's. Bring the Alpha GTR to the track....I will be waiting. FWIW, that GTR in the vid was not stock by any means.

I like the gtr its a nice car but when you build a car right for half the price this is what you can do. BEAT a gtr.

Clearly the Stang wins but I work for Nissan now and the new 2014 black edition GTR would take that out no problem.
