2023 BMW M2 vs Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0 vs Tuned Golf R // DRAG RACE + LAP TIME

The 2023 BMW M2 ($79,754 starting in Canada, $63,195 in the US), the 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 PDK ($117,242 starting in Canada, $100,580 in the US), and a respectably tuned Volkswagen Golf R DSG ($52,483 starting in Canada, $46,635 in the US) have lined up for a drag race. These three German cars each look to make it down the strip first. The all-wheel drive Golf R and mid-engined Cayman may have a traction edge over the rear-driven M2 off the launch. Wider tires plus a mid engine means the Porsche has roughly similar grip to the awd golf. Plus the Germans always underestimate their hp.
