Very interesting about the pants being fixed in the backside this way. I’ve been sewing for over 30 yrs and never seen it done this way. I usually just take it in at the back seam. I’d love to see how this looks 🤔

Ok, the sewing content I usually watch is historical, that's how I learned to sew actually. I love it so much, the combo of history and culture and adaptation and loveliness is a perfect fit for me. But even so I never learned a lot of techniques that seem very important and in some cases rudimentary. So then you started randomly popping up on my timeline recently and I've been learning a lot. this is sorta like what I do except what I do is just cutting and sewing vague wedge shapes into my pants until they fit the way I want them to so thanks cornelius I will use this info next time

The issues comes in when you fo soke reason needs to do such alterations on the main fabric and having darts in such areas only appears unprofessional. What then is one to do?
