Honestly, this is the video I wish I saw before I got my German Shepherd. From the ability to pick up the dog to the cost of dog health care, these are all solid things to consider, yet doesn't immediately come to mind for a new dog owner.

Many people I know stress over the cost of buying a dog. What they don’t realise is that the purchase price (be it from a shelter or an elite private breeder) will be the least expensive cost of owning a dog. The amount you will spend on food, vet bills, etc over 10-15 years far outweighs the initial cost of owning a dog. People also need to consider issues like dogs that require constant grooming, dogs that bark at the slightest sound, etc. Thanks for sharing.

I have a passion for Old English Bulldogges, I love the breed. For me it’s like a hobby, I own two, a female and a male and they are fantastic. At the beginning it was hard to get used to but the pluses far outweight anything else.

This is all very important information, if u don’t follow all of these then u will get a unhealthy dog as well as u becoming broke. Take all this into consideration. I myself have a dog who was from a shelter which was good for us because we love helping dogs as well as can take care of one, but others are different.

Hey, I'm glad this unique channel exists. It's full on high quality's videos about dogs but so much advices too that are really welcome anyway you're new or confirmed in owning a dog !

We’re getting a German Sheperd soon! I’ve had a Pitbull, but it died at an age of 15, because it was old. It’s time to get a new dog! I will give it a good life, and this time we’ll adopt! :)

Yes! This is information that people need to understand before impulse-buying or adopting. And the cost and effort of training (especially for inexperienced owners) cannot be emphasized enough: If you aren't willing to invest the money and time to learn a whole new skill set to teach an animal, then don't get a dog.

You should also think about the size of the Dog and how much space the Dog needs, if you have other Animals or other Dogs then they need to be good with those as well but also grooming Dogs, some Dogs are a lot less work than others when it comes to grooming
With feeding your Dogs a raw diet; I think it should have been more about diets in general as raw diet seems a bit specific
