The world needs more pianos on boats!

My little island here in the Pacific has old piano scattered about. there are none that I know of on a boat but there's one in the woods and another at the end of a pier.

Still one of my favorite moments on YouTube.

Every single time I come across this, I think of my Dad. He would have been charmed by this. Boats, Music, a guy seizing the moment and running with it. A moment that couldn't be replicated if you tried.

Now just imagine that it is early morning and the sun has still to break the horizon, and a cool mist clings to the serface of the water. From the distance across the water this melody is being carried towards you apon a gentle breeze. Slowly getting ever closer.

for the people who say that the untuned piano ruins the song, i woud argue that it adds to it, beacuse it makes the individual notes sound completely different. an example of this technique is "I see everything" by Hans Zimmer from sherlock holmes.

I have to say that pianos are even more enjoyable to play when they're out of tune because it's different. Pianos that are weathered down have that charm that just brings you up, doesn't it?
