There is a specific set of dollies that are needed when moving this kind of piano. My son and I were able to move one only because the PIANO DOLLIES put the weight on the wheels and the lifting handles helped us guide it down the stairs. Equipment rental companies often have these dollies on hand.

If you're moving, it's probably easier to include it as a permanent fixture in the house. Just bolt it to the wall and leave it 😂

Any fool can play the piano, but moving one is an art form.

See how they're all struggling at the 1:00 mark? All it takes is one guy slipping and someone's foot is crushed and the piano is trashed. If you're going to move an upright piano this size, get a moving truck with a damn lift gate.

As a professional piano mover myself, I noticed a few things you should never do on this video. Like strapping it down by the legs of the piano. You’ll brake them right off.
